Software Engineer - FiberSIM

VISTAGY, Inc. is actively seeking a Software Engineer to join the FiberSIM product development team and work at the Waltham, MA headquarters. In this role you will be responsible for designing, enhancing and supporting VISTAGY's FiberSIM product. FiberSIM is a suite of software tools that supports every step of the product development process of parts made of composite materials such as carbon fiber reinforced polymers.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain/enhance the composite part modeling capabilities of FiberSIM
- Design and development of core FiberSIM functionality
- Support and maintain existing and new code
Requirements:
- Strong background in C++/C
- BS or MS in Computer Science or Mechanical Engineering
- Knowledge of Object Oriented Design (OOD)

Software Engineer - CAL

VISTAGY, Inc. is actively seeking a Software Engineer to join the CAD Abstraction Layer (CAL) development team and work at the Waltham, MA headquarters. In this role you will be responsible for developing CAD system capabilities needed by VISTAGY's applications. CAL is a CAD Abstraction Layer of VISTAGY's application framework EnCapta. CAL allows VISTAGY's applications to work independently of the particular CAD system that application has been built for.

Inside Sales Representative - SL0311
VISTAGY is actively seeking an inside sales professional to help us capture our rapidly expanding opportunities in the aerospace, automotive, marine, medical and other industries. The Inside Sales Representative will support the sales and service teams. Responsibilities include qualifying leads, uncovering new sales opportunities, driving attendance to special events and supporting the day to day activities of the sales team. In addition there will be special projects as assigned.
Responsibilities:
- Prospect and cold call into target accounts/industries to generate interest and uncover new sales opportunities
- Follow up on marketing leads to qualify and assess business needs
- Work with Sales Directors to set up territory specific programs and executive meetings
- General project-based research into companies/prospects to help Sales Directors in qualification and sales call preparation

Technical Consulting
Technical Consultant, Analysis – TC 211
VISTAGY, Inc. is a US-based engineering software company that is experiencing rapid growth around the globe. We work closely with industry leaders in aerospace, automotive, and industrial equipment markets to help them solve their most complex product design and manufacturing challenges. We are seeking a Technical Consultant who will work with our customers to integrate CAE processes and tools into our FiberSIM® composites engineering software in both a pre-sales and post-sales consulting role. This position is based out of VISTAGY's headquarters in Waltham, MA. However, client engagements will be worldwide.
This is a hands-on position that is customer-oriented and has varied responsibilities.
Responsibilities
- The lead technical person who will work with our analysis partners during sales engagements which involve VISTAGY's CAE integration strategy.
- Work with VISTAGY partners on the development and presentation of joint product demonstrations.
- Assistance with development of marketing collateral for solutions which include analysis.
- Education of technical consulting and account management teams on structural analysis of composites and large aerostructure assemblies.
- Business development meetings/client calls which present analysis as part of the overall VISTAGY solution.
- Development of a product demonstration which effectively shows the strength of VISTAGY products when linked to CAE applications.
- Assist in product requirements gathering and product definitions.
Requirements:
- BS, 4-year degree in engineering. Masters degree is preferable.
- Strong pre-and post sales experience in the sale of structural analysis or CAE applications.
- Strong written and verbal skills.
- Experience in the use of a high-end CAD/CAE system, such as Catia, Unigraphics or Pro/ENGINEER.
- The ability to easily travel worldwide approximately 30% of the time.
Desirables:
- Experience in the analysis of composites and large aerostructures assemblies is a plus.
- Experience in the design and analysis of composite wind blades and/or naval structures.
