WEBCAST: Deliver Optimized Composite Parts by Linking Analysis and Design
Analysts and designers have traditionally worked somewhat separately, focusing on their own domains rather than seeing projects from a more holistic viewpoint. That was understandable because they did not have a way to effectively collaborate with each other. Making design changes to composite parts after the first iteration was slow, difficult and expensive. It was largely a serial process that did not contribute to improving part performance, reducing product development cycles or staying within budget.
Can this process be improved in your organization?
Learn how to develop an efficient process for improving the quality of composite parts using VISTAGY’s FiberSIM® and MSC.Software’s SimXpert® software solutions.
Join us for an in-depth discussion on how this unified environment can lead to a far faster, more seamless and less expensive product development cycle.
You will discover how to:
- Integrate your composites analysis and design processes
- Optimize designs for weight and structural requirements while ensuring cost-effective manufacturing
- Achieve concurrent engineering by enhancing collaboration between analysts and designers
- Improve part performance by accommodating changes later in the product development cycle
- Create an engineering definition that accurately represents the manufactured condition
