Brit Hutchins Joins VISTAGY, Inc. as Vice President of Finance & Administration

Successful developer of engineering software expands management team in preparation for accelerated growth

WALTHAM, Mass., July 19, 2004—Today VISTAGY, Inc., creators of specialized engineering software for product design and manufacture, announced the addition of J. Britton (“Brit”) Hutchins, CFA, to its management team as vice president of finance and administration. This position was created to support the company’s future growth following a 45% increase in revenues in 2003 and more than doubling revenues since 2000.

“Brit brings to VISTAGY a unique blend of experiences from Wall Street to senior positions at several startups,” said Steven C. Luby, president of VISTAGY. “He is a great addition to a close-knit management team.” In his new position, Mr. Hutchins is responsible for strategic finance decisions and future expansion plans as well as the day-to-day operations of the finance and human resource departments.

With more than 14 years of financial and operational experience, Mr. Hutchins has held several senior level positions with other rapidly growing companies in New England including Sonexis, Inc. and FaxNet Corporation. Most recently, he held the position of chief financial officer of Chasma, Inc., a New Hampshire-based wireless telephone game publisher.

A native of Bangor, Maine, Mr. Hutchins is a Chartered Financial Analyst® (CFA). He holds a BA in economics from Williams College, Williamstown, Massachusetts, and an MBA from Babson Graduate School of Business, Wellesley, Massachusetts.
